Big Brother Naija Season 11 has entered another decisive stage after Abisola “Abi” Ayoola and Oluwaseyifunmi “Araga” Sosanya were evicted from the “Show Ya Sef” house during the latest live eviction show.
The double eviction was announced on Sunday, September 13, as the reality TV competition continued to narrow down the housemates competing for the grand prize. Their exits leave 14 housemates in the competition.
Abi had been one of the notable contestants in the season. The model and chef had already secured the Head of House position twice during her time in the house and was also recognised as the Most Influential Player after one of the earlier weeks.
Araga, a 29-year-old fashion model from Ogun State, also became a familiar face throughout the season. His time in the house included involvement in several of the show’s major conversations and storylines.
Their departure follows a series of earlier exits from the competition. Martins, Mercedes, Kamsy, Cassi, Sultex, Goddessa and Gerald had previously left the house, while Neche voluntarily withdrew from the show.
Nomy was also disqualified during the season.
The latest eviction comes as the remaining housemates move closer to the final stages of the competition. With fewer contestants left, the pressure is expected to increase as housemates compete in challenges, nominations and other activities that could determine who remains in the race.Season 11 premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million grand prize. The edition is themed “Show Ya Sef” and is hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.Meanwhile, the competition has already produced another major development in the new week. Barry won the Week 8 Head of House title and became the first housemate to secure a place in the grand finale. He also received Ultimate Veto Power and used it to save Aikou from possible eviction.
With the number of housemates continuing to fall, attention now turns to the contestants still in the house and who will make it through the remaining stages of BBNaija Season 11.
